OPINION: Khan Would Easily Be S Tier With These Small Changes

We all know Khan, he's the butt of the community's jokes and has been for years. He's an easy bottom 3 character that takes a minute to learn for each character he ranks higher than on the tier list despite his excessively difficult links making you do a lot of work for very little, very visually uninteresting payoff. Here are a few easy changes to make Khan jump up to being a solid S tier.

1. Make Khan an active stand character. Khan is a stand user, even if his stand is just a sword. The first step to making Khan S tier is to make him an active stand user, giving him a tandem, double jump and all the other advantages active stand users have access to.

2. Improve frame data. Khan's normals have some stellar hitboxes, however the frame data on a large amount of them leave much to be desired, so we'll be making his frame data much more generous.

3. Increase Khan's grounded mobility. One of, if not the greatest strengths Khan has is his mobility, but he is outclassed by other characters on the roster. Because he is outclassed, we will be making Khan's forward dash take him to fullscreen, and sped up his roll significantly to match the speed of Devo's. Now, Khan will be able to advance with the greatest of ease and get in on the characters he struggles to approach.

4. Give Khan infinite air dashes. Even with Khan's new dash, he can't get in on the air without resorting to the Khancopter, so for this reason we will be giving khan as many air dashes as he needs to get in and out, to truly dominate the air and ground at will.

5. Give Khan his iconic "net attack" from the manga. Quite frankly, we at Tandem Cancel have no idea why this has to be done. His powerful "anubis nets" were a large part of why Khan was able to go toe-to-toe with Jotaro and Polnareff. It was taken from Khan and given to Kakyoin, for no good reason at all, so we'll be giving that back to Khan now.

We think with these 5 easy steps Khan can become the fearsome fighting force Araki and Capcom intended him to be.
