UPDATE: Gun vs Sword Tournament Ends, Polnareff Dominates

Chibi Abbachio, organizer of a Pet Shop only gimmick tournament covered by Tandem Cancel previously, has returned to the tournament scene with a brand new tournament to see if the gun is truly mightier than the sword, only allowing characters with guns and swords to participate.

The list of characters allowed included: Polnareff, Chaka, Black Polnareff, Khan, Hol Horse, Hol Horse and Boingo and Alessi. Surprising absolutely nobody, the people playing the S tier polnareff were able to easily demolish anyone playing other characters and proving once and for all not that the sword is mightier than the gun, but that a poorly thought out gimmick tournament is never a good idea.

"Free wins are free wins, I won't complain." said KevinIsAWarCriminal, Red Earth player and winner of the tournament. "Like yeah, the Chakas and Alessis had a chance but come on, Pol is just such a good character it isn't even funny."

Chibi Abbachio was very pleased with the result of the event, even going so far as to declare that he would likely run it again despite the fact that almost every player involved vowed never to enter another of his tournaments.

"Holy [redacted] that was the most scuffed tournament I've played in since the last voids tournament, holy [redacted]." commented Khan main and former Rivals of Aether player KRAAAAAAG. "The entire bracket was just made up on the spot, nobody knew who was playing and when, every match was best of 1, it was single elimination, do I really need to say more!?"

"Yeah what KRAAAAAAG said was bad, but he didn't even say the worst part of it." added another player in the tournament, who asked to remain unnamed. "There wasn't a set place to play on, we could play on whatever we wanted to as long as both players agreed. Sounds good right? Wrong. Some jackass decided he wanted to play on Kaillera of all things and refused to play on anything else, and the TO just let it happen. I dropped when i saw I had to fight him. I don't wanna set up Kaillera, and I don't think anyone else did either but that Abbachio guy thought it was funny so he let it happen."

Hopefully Chibi Abbachio stops running dumb gimmick tournaments however as he does not seem to understand why this tournament was a failure it does not seem like he will. The only thing left to do is wait for him to stop getting entrants due to his very bad performace as a TO.
