UPDATE: Missing Reporter Found in Palmod Gallery After 2 Week Search.

UPDATE - The Tandem Cancel's on the scene reporter had gone missing after being tasked with learning more about palmodder culture. After being missing for almost 2 weeks he has finally been found, deep in the heart of the Palmod Gallery.

"He seems to have completely integrated into the culture, and cast off his old role as a reporter in favor of playing coloring book. It's actually quite fascinating to see how the wild has changed him." said one Tandem Cancel researcher. "When he first returned he was unable to speak full sentences, and was only able to communicate via interpretative hueshifting. We've discovered that different palmods can be used to incite different reactions from him. Upon seeing the palmods made for the subreddit experiment he was sent into a wild rage, capable of only expressing himself via the MajonglesGay emote and the phrase "Ow my eyes!"

When shown a well made palmod, however, the reporter calmed down and nodded in approval before uttering a single sentence: "Needs more contrast on the coat." Researchers have been learning quite a lot from this turn of events, and Tandem Cancel's researchers believe this is the key to understanding why palmodders have low play times.

"To put it quite simply they don't have the drive to play. By watching the reporter-turned-hueshifter's daily routine we have discovered that the palmodder, which I've dubbed 'Homo Shiftien' actually spends as much time in Fighters Factory as the average Russian player does on fightcade and redggpo, only opening the game to make sure they didn't mess up when making their latest creation." explained Tandem Cancel's lead researcher. "But more interesting than that is what happened when we took away his access to anything besides fightcade with the default rom. For the first few hours he went into shock from seeing New Kakyoin's Start Palette again, however as he was forced to experiment and actually play the game he quickly discovered some basic strategies like abusing tandem I-Frames or doing basic combos. We believe this plan of forcing him to go cold turkey is actually an effective form of rehab for him. If all goes well he might just have the drive to play the game again. We'll have to wait and see."

While the reporter has been starting to recover he likely will not regain his job after he is discharged but will receive some assistance from Tandem Cancel to reintegrate into society.
